The PORTA armchair draws inspiration from the entrance portico of the Chandigarh Assembly Hall, designed by Le Corbusier in 1951. It abstracts the brutalist and dualistic qualities of this portico, blending the soft, adaptable nature of a curved main element with the rigorous, rectilinear character of the parallel planes that support it. PORTA is a high-backed armchair offering great comfort, characterized by its precise construction and subtle, polished details.
