AREA is a modular furniture collection conceived to organise contemporary work settings through a refined architectural language. Developed for Kettal by Foster + Partners Industrial Design, the system combines structural columns, tabletops and integrated accessories to create adaptable surfaces for meeting rooms, co-working spaces, libraries and cafés.

Its construction is based on aluminium columns that act as both support and infrastructure, accommodating power, data and lighting. The system is available with columns in three diameters—90, 160 and 450 mm—and tabletops in round, rhomboid and triangular formats, with finishes including timber, linoleum, melamine, Fenix, terrazzo and marble, depending on the configuration.

Designed for contract and workplace interiors, the collection supports seated and standing configurations, cable management and optional accessories such as fabric screen dividers, integrated lighting and concealed power grommets. Its value lies in its capacity to define collaborative, focused and informal work areas with a clean, technically integrated presence.
