TOPOS, a collaboration between Zaha Hadid Architects and iSiMAR, celebrates Mediterranean living with its innovative outdoor furniture collection.

Named after the Greek word for “place,” TOPOS embodies the essence of outdoor gatherings with loved ones, whether by the sea, poolside, or under the shade of pine trees. Inspired by topography, the collection translates contour lines from maps into industrial design, capturing the beauty of Mediterranean landscapes and their associated quality of life. Similar to contour lines depicting valleys and hills on maps, TOPOS’ design represents changes in gradient through its efficient use of materials.

With contours tailored to each user, TOPOS prioritises ergonomics, materiality, and structure, striking a balance between personal comfort, material resilience, and geometric expression.
