Last year, Adidas Mexico relocated its headquarters in Mexico City and, with the objective of enhancing the quality of life for its employees, required a workspace that provided both design and location benefits. In response to these needs, the Mexican architecture and interior design firm Oxigeno Arquitectura created a connected environment in which ACTIU’s furnishings foster a dynamic and healthy work culture. The design of the new office embodies the brand’s core philosophy, incorporating collaborative, open spaces without assigned seating. This layout allows teams to freely utilize any area, promoting flexibility and interaction. In order to achieve the goals of adaptability, connectivity, and sustainability, the Spanish company ACTIU provided versatile and ergonomic furnishings, including the VITAL PRO tables in various heights, lightweight LONGO tables, and EFIT chairs and benches that promote postural changes within the operational areas. To maintain consistency, the same chairs were used in meeting rooms, while lighter pieces such as folding PLEK tables, high TABULA tables, and NOOM stools were selected for the cafeteria. The result is an innovative workspace in which ACTIU’s designer furniture seamlessly integrates with the overall design.
