Hotel Dimar was born from an idea that felt personal from the start. When Amparo and Rafael opened the doors 50 years ago, they imagined a place that would represent Valencia beyond its landmarks: a hotel with character, warmth, and a genuine sense of welcome, where guests could settle in as if it were their own home.

Since then, the hotel has grown alongside the city. Decade after decade, it has embraced change to meet the expectations of modern travellers, while preserving what makes it special: a comfortable, guest-focused experience shaped by care, attention to detail, and an inviting atmosphere.

As part of its latest chapter, Grupo Plan has led a thoughtful renovation that brings a lighter, more contemporary feel to the property without losing sight of its heritage. The guestrooms, dining space, and communal areas have been furnished with pieces by Casual Solutions, and the carefully considered layout enhances natural light and flow, creating bright, relaxed interiors designed for wellbeing, comfort, and easy enjoyment of Valencia.
