Hesperia Barri Gòtic is a centrally located hotel in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, set in an 18th-century building in the historic centre. Reopened following a full refurbishment in 2024, the interior design is conceived as a sequence of discoveries, moving from darker, labyrinth-like circulation areas into a generous central patio that acts as the project’s main spatial anchor.

Furniture is integrated across the shared lobby and lounge areas arranged around the central patio, creating informal settings for waiting, meeting and resting.

The scheme combines upholstered sofas and lounge chairs with occasional tables and a dedicated counter-height work area, supporting both short stays and longer, quiet use within the hotel’s low-lit atmosphere.
