Furniture from Spain & Cosentino City Barcelona: PROTOTYPING, DESIGN AND INNOVATION with Manel Molina
As part of Barcelona Design Week, Cosentino City Barcelona and Furniture from Spain open their doors to a professional gathering focused on one of the most decisive stages of the design process: prototyping and its role in turning an idea into a product ready for the market.
An event conceived to share experiences and encourage dialogue between designers and companies around product development, innovation and collaboration, at a time when materials, circularity, sustainability, logistics and globalisation are reshaping the challenges faced by the interiors industry.
What´s in store?
Renowned designer Manel Molina, with an extensive career in furniture, lighting and product design for leading Spanish companies, will take part in a conversation with representatives from Cumellas, Hobby Flower, Vergés and Ofitres.
Through their experience, the discussion will explore how products are developed and validated before reaching the market, the role of prototypes within the creative and industrial process, and how collaboration between designers and companies helps transform initial concepts into viable, innovative and impactful solutions.
The event will also provide an opportunity to share insights, challenges and new perspectives on product development, highlighting prototyping as a key tool for experimentation, decision-making and adapting to the changing demands of the industry.
Participating brands: Cumellas, Hobby Flower, Vergés and Ofitres.
After the discussion, guests will enjoy a brunch and coffee, offering a relaxed setting to continue the conversation, exchange ideas and connect with fellow professionals.
