ANDREU WORLD expands its global presence with new showrooms in Tokyo, Düsseldorf, and New York
ANDREU WORLD, a master in high-quality furniture manufacturing for both residential and contract spaces, is seeing its global success mirrored in its expanding international presence. The brand’s ability to lead in markets where Spanish brands are less prevalent, such as Japan, is a testament to its excellence and innovation.
Tokyo Showroom: A Blend of Sustainability and Innovation
The latest addition to ANDREU WORLD’s portfolio is a stunning new showroom in Tokyo, meticulously designed by Patricia Urquiola. This space embodies the brand’s commitment to sustainable design and innovation, showcasing collections that include the BOLETE sofa, NUEZ LOUNGE BIO armchair, ORU collection, and NUEZ family of chairs and tables. All these pieces are crafted using sustainable materials, adhering to the principles of a circular economy.
Located at Ratio Minami Aoyama 1F, 2-19-6 Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, the Tokyo showroom spans 200 square metres and presents the latest collections from prominent designers such as Philippe Starck, Alfredo Häberli, Benjamin Hubert, Jasper Morrison, and Patricia Urquiola herself.
The space encapsulates ANDREU WORLD’s heritage, identity, and mission, offering a playful and inspiring experience with areas defined by translucent wooden panels. It is designed to be holistic and multifunctional, catering to diverse needs and uses.
Düsseldorf Showroom: Strengthening Presence in Germany
In March, ANDREU WORLD opened another showroom in Düsseldorf, Germany, marking a significant step in its German expansion. Located in the prestigious GAP 15 building at Graf-Adolf-Platz 15, this iconic 90-metre-high, fully glazed structure provides the perfect backdrop for Andreu World’s extensive collection.
Sharing a 700-square-metre space with WINI, a renowned German office furniture brand, the Düsseldorf showroom offers a unique experience for visitors. It is strategically designed to showcase products in various environments and settings, featuring works by international designers like Patricia Urquiola, Philippe Starck, Alfredo Häberli, and Benjamin Hubert.
This showroom serves as a workspace and meeting point for designers, reaffirming ANDREU WORLD’s commitment to the German market with sustainable furniture solutions crafted under circular economy principles.
New York Showroom: Expanding in North America
Across the Atlantic, ANDREU WORLD has expanded its flagship showroom in New York, now the second largest worldwide. Located strategically in the New York Design Center at 200 Lexington Avenue, the renovated 1,000-square-metre space reinforces the brand’s status as a leader in the furniture and interior design industry. This new showroom represents a milestone for the company, reflecting its commitment to the North American market by offering sustainable options and consolidating its position as a global leader in the furniture industry for workspaces, hospitality, contract, outdoor, and residential settings.
The New York showroom features a versatile range of collections, including chairs, armchairs, stools, sofas, modular work systems, and a variety of auxiliary, meeting, and corporate tables. Visitors can explore the latest collections by renowned international designers, emphasizing the brand’s dedication to sustainability and the circular economy. The showroom includes an extensive panel explaining the Circular Design® Challenge, a global initiative aimed at advancing towards full circularity, promoting health, social equality, and planetary sustainability.
ANDREU WORLD’s commitment to sustainability is further highlighted by its new B Corp certification and its pledge to enter a circular economy by 2025. As a pioneer in certifications like 100% FSC and Cradle to Cradle, the company demonstrates a comprehensive approach to social and environmental responsibility. This dedication is reflected not only in their sustainable products but also in the New York showroom, which serves as an inspiring space for professionals, providing resources and solutions for equipment and materials, and facilitating global project creation.
With these new and expanded showrooms, ANDREU WORLD continues to solidify its global presence, offering innovative and sustainable furniture solutions that cater to the evolving needs of professionals and consumers alike.
