Habitat Valencia 2019 – Post show report
Last Friday 20th of September the fair Hábitat Valencia closed its doors with over 33,000 professional visitors, +25% up over the last year, and the biggest increase over the previous editions, exceeding the best expectations. International buyers came from over 65 different countries, attracted by the creative energy and new ideas for both the home and contract sectors showcased by the different brands on display over the six pavilions of the fair.
The show hosted 503 international exhibitors, 21% more over 2018 edition. Also the exhibiting surface has grown from 45.000 square meters up to 65.000 square meters, +45% up over the last year, adding two more pavilions to the fair.
This year Hábitat Valencia has also increased its international offer, with a growth of 46% in the number of international exhibitors, including exhibiting brands from Germany, Belgium, China, France, Italy, Malasia, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Romania and Turkey.
The show covered four key areas regarding furniture, lighting and decoration offer: Design, Contemporary Style, High Decoration and the Nude exhibition for emerging talents and innovation.
The return of leading brands and the debut of new international names have cemented the show’s position as both the cornerstone show of the Spanish furniture industry and a key event of the international interior design scene.
