CASADESUS brings ultra-sleek comfort to the Hilton London Metropole Hotel

In October 2013, the Hilton London Metropole Hotel completed its expansive renovation that has increased the lobby size and modernized the hotel’s entrance and reception area. The comfort of CASADESÚS seating programmes has been chosen by UK Aukett Fitzroy Robinson interior design studio to furnish the renovated EDG Bar & Lounge and the new Library Lounge. The hotel is the first UK property to incorporate Hilton Hotels & Resorts’ new innovative lobby design narrative, which creates a totally refreshed and reconfigured arrival experience. The new design concept includes also smartly designed and functionally relevant lounge spaces and meeting rooms to work and socialize.

The new, double height EDG Bar & Lounge features British custo-made vanilla fabric suspended light, creating stunning focal point. In this sophisticated space guests can unwind or meet friends while sitting in the stylish AVA armchairs and sofas. The colour palette includes muted grey fabrics, with splashes of yellow to create a warm atmosphere for relaxing.

The AVA collection, a design of J&D Casadesús, includes armchairs, chairs, high chairs and loveseats suitable for home and contract use.

The decoration is completed by the minimalistic lines of the STRAKTA occasional tables.

The AVA armchairs, in a velvet configuration, and the AVA sofa have also been used for the elegant Library lounge. The sophisticated purple and vanilla palette recurs in the snug TURKANA chairs by Jaime Casadesús that brings an ultra-modern touch to the calming atmosphere of this space.
