Clerkenwell Design Week 2026. The Spanish Collection Returns to The Charterhouse with a Refined Contract and Living Vision
From 19–21 May, Clerkenwell Design Week once again becomes a focal point for the international design community—and Spanish design is set to make a confident statement. For the second consecutive year, the Spanish Collection lands at The Charterhouse, occupying the evocative spaces of the Old Library and Great Hall.

The Spanish Collection at The Charterhouse. A curated Showcase of Leading Spanish Brands
This carefully curated showcase brings together a selection of leading Spanish brands, recognised for their strong export profiles and established presence in key international markets, including the UK. Together, they present a compelling vision of contemporary design for both contract and residential environments—spanning interiors and outdoor settings, from hospitality and workspaces to private homes and terraces.

At the heart of the Spanish Collection is a distinctive approach to design: refined aesthetics, technical precision, and a clear commitment to durability and comfort. Visitors will encounter furniture collections defined by material richness, fluid forms and versatile applications, alongside high-quality rugs and home textiles from brands with a solid footprint across Europe.

The setting itself reinforces this narrative. The Charterhouse, with its layered history, provides a striking backdrop where heritage meets modernity—an ideal context for Spanish design, which continues to evolve in response to the demands of global specifications and contemporary living.
Participating brands include Expormim, SKLD Studio, Gandia Blasco Group (including GAN), Ezpeleta and Omelette Editions, joined by textile specialists Naturtex, Crevin and Rols Carpets.

Spain–UK Furniture Trade: A Strengthening Design Relationship
The UK remains a strategic market for Spanish furniture exports, reaching €128.9 million in 2025, with a 1.2% increase and ranking sixth among Spain’s export destinations—clear evidence of the sustained interest in Spanish design across British projects.

The Spanish Collection offers more than a product showcase; it is an invitation to engage with a design culture defined by creativity, innovation and international outlook. Your journey into Spanish design excellence begins at the Spanish Collection, during Clerkenwell Design Week at The Charterhouse. We’ll see you there!
