MARINER, luxury and exclusivity with a history of 120 years
With a long-standing export tradition, the Valencia-based MARINER, an international key-player in the luxury furniture and lighting industry, celebrates 120 years of history. Internationalization, personalization and bespoke projects are at the core of its success. Let’s have a deeper insight…
This year MARINER celebrates the 120th anniversary since its foundation. For the occasion, the company, which was founded in 1893 by Mr Enrique Mariner, has updated the brand with a new commemorative logo and a company motto: “Supreme Luxury Experience since 1893. To celebrate the event, the firm has planned a series of activities that include also the launch of two new collections, LOTTO and MARAIS, unveiled for the first time at I Saloni Milano 2013.
Over the years, Mariner has strived to offer its clients a unique experience in luxury by creating exclusive furniture, lighting and decoration that are references of style as well as emblematic timepieces. This has been made possible by combining its long-established artisanal skills with modern designs and innovative manufacturing processes.
Mariner works closely with the most renowned architects and international interior designers to carry out major turnkey projects in different sectors: hospitality, residential, institutional etc. Work quality and deadlines are important features of MARINER’s facility designs, as well as the technical advice service that allows for further possibilities in the personalization of products and the development of custom-made solutions.
Among MARINER’s most exclusive and luxury contract works there is the interior design of the BISTANGO mega-yacht that has been furnished with the NEVA collection, an attractive neo-classical furniture line in sycamore, excellently lacquered in black with gold leaf finishings, Swarovski crystals and precious fabrics.
It also worked on the decoration project of an official Russian residence and on the VIP lounge at Malabo Airport (Equatorial Guinea).
The most recent projects, completed in February 2013, has been the refurbishment of the a spectacular boardroom in Bata (Equatorial Guinea) with an impressive made to measure meeting table, a real work of art in noble wood and bronze based on Mariner’s LOUVRE collection.
Since shortly after the company’s foundation, Mariner has been increasingly export-oriented. In 1915, MARINER sold already its products to companies across Europe and America and it now exports to more than 110 countries. Over the years, Mariner has increased its presence at major trade fairs and international events, such as Il Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, the furniture fairs in Paris and Cologne, the Lighting Fair in Paris, the ElektroMessehaus in Hannover, the Herbst in Frankfurt or the, FINE in Beirut.
