MARINER presents ASCOT, its new high-end furniture collection for living and dining rooms
Valencia-based furniture and lighting company MARINER has developed a new contemporary collection, which had a soft launch at the Salone in April and will be showcased again at the Feria Habitat Valencia, from September 19 to 22.
Featuring gentle curves, defined lines, and a thoughtful craftsmanship, ASCOT shares with mid-century modern furniture a subtle timeless and urbane appeal. Its minimalist design, which relies on geometric shapes and wooden construction, has been conceived to meet the demand for high-end furniture with excellent quality and a less ostentatious aesthetic.
The refined ASCOT range offers sideboards, display and bar cabinets, chairs, sofas, armchairs, chairs, TV stands, coffee and side tables, dining tables, consoles and mirrors. Pieces boast an intriguing combination of washed ash wood, walnut burl veneers and lacquers in neutral tones. The brushed bronzed elements add sophistication while enhancing the exclusive character of the collection.
Dining room furniture
The rejection of frills and ornamentation lets the material itself take a starring role in the sophisticated dining room. It includes a stunning table in two versions, round or rectangular with soft edges, chairs, refined sideboard and a bar cabinet.
Tables features a beautiful hourglass-shaped pedestal that subtly mixes wood, lacquers and a casted bronze décor. The rectangular table has a double pedestal base.
Inspired by classic French style, but contemporary in spirit, the chairs are available in two options: with or without armrests. They feature a round-shaped backrest and upholstered seats and backs for extra comfort.
The sideboard and the high cabinet beautifully complement the decoration adding function and a great dose of style to the dining space.
Living room furniture
The warm woods and the architectural design of pieces make ASCOT ideal for a calm, contemporary living room. The scheme exudes understated refinement and sophistication thanks to the super-subtle palette of grey and blues used for the sofas and armchairs. Velvet upholstery, on the other hand, is also used to provide the lounge space with depth and interest.
Both sofas and armchairs feature an elegant design enhanced by the soft buttoning finishes of the external upholstery.
The living room is completed by a set of side and coffee tables, consoles and a TV stand that offer solutions for storage and media gadgets.
