GONNA is a chair with a soft, enveloping silhouette inspired by the movement of a skirt, translating the grace of tailored couture into a contemporary seating piece. Designed by Mónica Armani for Punt Mobles, its name comes from the Italian word for “skirt”, reinforcing the idea of a light, decisive and embracing form.
The chair is built around a curved plywood backrest with a central opening that visually lightens the design while creating a subtle play of transparency. An upholstered seat and ergonomic lumbar cushion add tactile comfort, balancing the warmth of wood with a more welcoming, domestic feel.
Its versatility lies in the range of available bases: wooden legs for warmer residential settings, or metal versions that can be fixed, swivel or fitted with casters for more dynamic workplace use. This flexibility makes it suitable for homes, meeting rooms, hospitality interiors and contract environments where comfort and visual character must work together.
