Located in Sant Just Desvern, in the province of Barcelona, this residential renovation reworks a century-old house through a contemporary approach that remains attentive to its original character. Led by Bárbara Aurell, the project establishes a fluid relationship between the interior spaces and the garden, bringing light, continuity and a calmer way of inhabiting the home.

For the outdoor areas, the GARDA collection by Bivaq, designed by Joan Gaspar, was selected to integrate discreetly into the project. Its restrained language, informed by rationalist architecture and 1950s furniture, adds comfort and visual lightness to the garden setting, supporting the architecture rather than competing with it.
