- Vitoria, Spain
- Typology: Hospitality
The election of Vitoria-Gasteiz as European Green Capital in 2012 was a social milestone that propelled the ecological awareness of what has ended up becoming one of the most sustainable cities in Spain. It is not surprising that many business projects developed since then are marked by a strong green commitment.
That is the case of the Kora Green City Aparthotel, a coliving promoted by the company Kategora, which develops sustainable, highly technological accommodation with a powerful architectural appeal. It is neither more nor less than the largest Passivhaus accommodation in Europe. In other words, it can be stated without exaggeration that it is one of the most sustainable buildings in the world. The energy savings derived from its design, construction and use is equivalent to the purification of the air carried out by a forest of 13,500 trees.
For this project ESSENTHIA CONTRACT has carried out the manufacture, supply and installation of FF&E. These are tailor-made solutions for the 180 apartments, including wardrobes and kitchens, and common areas.
