Named after its founder, Thomas Lord, and established in 1787, the Lord’s Cricket Ground is the most important cricket venue in the world. When it came to renovate the Victorian Members’ Pavilion, which is at the heart of Lord’s venue, the Bridges Associates Studio decided to replace the old wooden benches with the upholstered version of BENCH B by Konstantin Grcic for BD Barcelona Design, suitable for outdoor use.
