MOOD XL collection from BIVAQ, outdoor lounging in style and comfort

If you think about it, design and creativity really know no bounds, so why should you? Bearing this in mind, the outdoor living specialist BIVAQ has designed a collection that multiplies the possibilities of creating endless lounging compositions in contemporary spaces and outdoor areas.

Designed by young industrial designer Andrés Bluth, MOOD XL is an updating of the former successful MOOD Collection, one of the most iconic of the Barcelona-based firm. Like the MOOD collection, MOOD XL is a modular seating system provided with the Screen Cover® system developed by, and exclusively available from BIVAQ. Thanks to this patented technique, all the materials (frames, upholsteries, fabrics) are 100% waterproof and resistant to atmospheric agents and sunlight.

Compared to MOOD, the MOOD XL has been developed with new improved comfort and features:

• wider and higher seat modules (89X42cm) that enhance the look of the collection while providing it with greater comfort;
• the Soft Cover System, designed to avoid hard corners and uncomfortable edges while making the furniture more pleasant to the touch and to use.

The collection, which includes a central module, corner modules, footrest modules, a pouffe, a low table and an armchair, is versatile and can be configured in different ways to perfectly fit into any public or private environment. By joining together modules you can form endless compositions, such 2, 3 or 4-seater sofas, L-shaped sofas, individual sofas, sun loungers…

The compositions can be complemented by other individual elements: coffee tables, armchairs and the pouffes, which are available in two different dimensions. For extra functionality, the MOOD pouffes can be used as extra seats, occasional tables or side tables.

You can also play with pieces from other collections of the brand to provide visual interest and achieve contrasting effects. Try for example to complement a corner sofa with the stylish ILLA coffee table. The light, metal base and the new DEKTON surfaces accentuate the refined, contemporary look of the space, while adding lightness and style.

On the other hand, the attractive MOOD armchair makes a perfect addition to both indoor or outdoor dining spaces. Its refined design matches perfectly the minimalist silhouette of the DATS dining table creating elegant yet comfortable dining sets in conservatories and terraces.

In combination with the SIT central leg tables, the MOOD armchair would also fit perfectly at an upscale bar or restaurants.

The extensive range of finishes, fabrics and colours promises to transform any outdoor into a serene, summer escape. Cushions are upholstered with either mass-coloured acrylic fabrics or vinytex and include a waterproof layer.
