Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026: Spanish Outdoor Furniture Sets the Scene for High-End Residential and Hospitality Spaces
Can outdoor furniture transform a terrace into a living space? Today’s designers demand more than durability—they expect comfort, presence and atmosphere that rival the interiors they adjoin. High-end residences, hotels and resorts now treat gardens, rooftops and poolside lounges with the same careful design thinking as living rooms or lobbies.
Spanish outdoor brands have been ahead of this trend. Drawing on a Mediterranean lifestyle where life naturally flows outdoors, they combine expert craftsmanship, refined proportions and natural materials with engineered metals, technical fibres and weather-resistant textiles—ensuring pieces perform under every climate while maintaining an unmistakable design identity.
At Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, brands including EXPORMIM, VONDOM, POINT and SKLD Studio reveal collections that translate this philosophy into outdoor environments that feel as composed, inviting and considered as any interior space. Have a look!

FUSTA Outdoor Lounge Furniture | Ramón Esteve | VONDOM
FUSTA Collection. By Ramón Esteve. VONDOM
Hitting the balance for exterior environments that are warm, inviting, sophisticated, and resilient is no easy task. But VONDOM has achieved it. With FUSTA, Ramón Esteve explores precisely that balance, introducing a collection that marks a new chapter in Vondom’s design language.

The pieces are built around a structure sculpted from solid teak wood. Smooth, continuous curves define an organic silhouette that feels light despite the material’s solidity. The design draws inspiration from the calm elegance of Mid-Century furniture and the restraint of Scandinavian design, creating forms that appear both familiar and quietly contemporary.

Teak becomes the protagonist not only for its durability outdoors but also for its tactile presence. Cushions upholstered in weather-resistant textiles complete the collection, ensuring comfort without disturbing the visual lightness of the structure. With FUSTA, Vondom introduces its first fully teak collection created with Ramón Esteve, expanding its portfolio towards a more organic and timeless expression of outdoor design.
ESCALA High-back Lounge Chair. By Fabio Novembre. POINT
A chair can set the tone for an entire outdoor lounge. In the ESCALA high-back lounge chair, Fabio Novembre uses proportion and craft to create a piece that immediately communicates shelter and comfort.

The design stands out for its tall, embracing backrest and its carefully balanced proportions. The structure is made of aluminium to ensure durability outdoors, while the seat and backrest feature a hand-woven pattern in Shintotex® fibre, a high-performance material that incorporates 30% recycled content and is fully recyclable.

The weaving process is entirely manual, showcasing POINT’s craftsmanship in each piece. Available in pure white or natural linen tones, the chair reflects the quiet elegance that defines the broader ESCALA collection. Alongside the high-back version, the series also includes lounge and dining chairs, a rocking chair, swing chair and coffee table, forming a complete outdoor setting shaped by precision and material expertise.
LEKU Dining Table & Occasional Tables. By Javier Pastor. EXPORMIM
What if a table could shape the atmosphere of a space as much as the architecture around it? With LEKU, designer Javier Pastor turns that idea into a tangible object for Spanish furniture manufacturer EXPORMIM.

LEKU Dining Table | Javier Pastor | EXPORMIM
Inspired by the work of Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida, the collection explores the relationship between volume and emptiness, light and shadow. The dining tables feature an expressive base finished in oxidised tones paired with legs crafted from FSC-certified sapeli wood. This contrast between metal and wood creates a dialogue between strength and warmth.

The tabletops are made of fused tempered glass with an irregular texture that subtly transforms how light interacts with the surface throughout the day. In round and oval formats, the tables encourage movement and conversation.

LEKU Occasional Tables | Javier Pastor | EXPORMIM
The occasional tables reinterpret the same concept on a smaller scale. Aluminium elements in the base subtly echo the sculptural language behind the collection, while the fused glass top maintains the changing dialogue with light. These more compact pieces integrate naturally with lounge settings and pair especially well with EXPORMIM’s MERIDIES collection, creating balanced outdoor compositions for terraces and hospitality lounges.
KORO Sun Lounger. By Eli Gutiérrez. SKLD Studio
Poolside design requires more than comfort—it demands a distinctive visual identity. The KORO sun lounger, designed by Eli Gutiérrez for SKLD Studio, answers that challenge through a material language that is both experimental and refined.

The collection takes its name from the Japanese koro, a traditional incense container with soft, rounded shapes. That reference translates into a low, elongated silhouette designed for relaxation. The adjustable backrest allows users to shift easily between lounging and resting positions, making the piece particularly suitable for hotel terraces and resort poolsides.

Its most distinctive element is the woven structure that wraps around the base. This experimental textile combines rope and webbing in a horizontal weave, creating a dynamic surface that adds rhythm and depth to the design. The resulting pattern gives the lounger a light appearance while defining a strong architectural outline—an approach that aligns perfectly with hospitality environments seeking both comfort and visual character.

Across terraces, rooftop lounges and resort landscapes, Spanish outdoor brands continue to demonstrate a distinctive approach to furniture design. Solid teak, FSC-certified woods, hand-woven technical fibres and textured glass surfaces reveal a balance between craftsmanship and material research.
These collections are conceived not only for visual impact but also for performance. Engineered structures, weather-resistant textiles and durable finishes ensure resistance to intensive use and demanding climates—qualities essential for five-star hotels, international resorts and large residential projects. At Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, Expormim, Vondom, Point and SKLD Studio confirm the growing influence of Spanish outdoor design on the global stage. Will you be there to see it?
