GARCIA REQUEJO – CANDELABRO celebrates a successful participation at Batimatec Algeria and its new selling points

Since it was created 50 years ago as a family-run business, GARCIA REQUEJO – CANDELABRO have work hard on increasing its presence in international markets. Their internationalization strategy has been strengthened in recent years with the addition of new international destination markets and the opening of new selling points abroad.

The firm boasts now a consolidate presence in Russia, India, France, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Portugal. Chile and Poland, which are new incorporations as main client countries, have already produced good results through the establishment of new business relationships and the contacts made with large corporate groups of the hospitality and contract sectors. At the same time, new selling points have been started in Singapore, the U.S.A. and in many other European countries.

In May, GARCIA REQUEJO – CANDELABRO participated for the first time at the BATIMATEC, an international fair focused in the construction and/or refurbishment of public buildings. As the fair is attended by many government & business association’s representatives, the Spanish firms took the opportunity to display its latest lighting and furniture collections in order to push the brand into the market.

The new collection Art Deco, unveiled in January in Paris, enjoyed great success and new sale opportunities are expected in the short term.

Made of lustrous stainless steel and crystal, the new Art Deco lamps features a sleek and bold design that make them perfect to provide glamorous living spaces with a focal point and a sophisticated atmosphere. The collection is completed by a line of chest-of-drawers in different sizes and heights that stands out for an intriguing mix of mirror, stainless steel and leather.

The firm is currently working on a new collection that will be unveiled at the September edition of Maison & Objet (September 5-9) in Paris and will be inspired to architectural styles and focused on internationalization.
