KENDO, occasional beauties that keep up with the times
Looking for the right piece to complement your existing decoration? Or do you simply want to bring your place to life with cool solutions and unexpected combinations? Whatever your need, KENDO has some fun, innovative occasional pieces that stand out for freshness, innovation, character and quality. All of them fruit of the collaboration with Spain’s high-profile names of design. Let’s find out more…
Created in 2000 and based in Valencia, KENDO is a brand specialized in the design and manufacturing of contemporary, highly-versatile furnishings for home and contract use. From the outset, the firm has maintained a strong commitment with innovation, quality and design that are also the values on which the brand was founded.
“We regularly collaborate with designers of the stature of Francesc Rifé, Estudi Arola, Discoh and Nadadora in order to be at the avant-garde of the world’s leading occasional furniture manufacturers”, affirms Manuel Aliaga, CEO of the firm. Designers are given free rein at the conceptual stage, although the company intervenes when it comes to product development. “We invest in R&D to create designs that are fuelled by tradition but cutting-edge in terms of technology and sustainable practices” assures Aliaga. He also points out that the satisfaction of the specific needs of their clientele is at the basis of their business.
The stylish and minimalist design of its latest collections is as practical as it is good-looking. The catalogue includes different models of coffee tables, console tables, storage units, TV stands, bookcases and dining tables.
Personalization plays a great role, with pieces that can be configured in different sizes and finishes. Natural materials, such as oak, ebony, walnut or beech in a choice of warm tones, mix with the trendiest matt and high-gloss lacquers and the chrome structures to add pep and sparkle to contemporary spaces. Ceramic and marble tops have been added to the latest table collections for further interest and refinement.
Optionally, clients can request other lacquer colours referenced according to RAL and NCS cards. Pieces can also be customized to meet the specifications of clients and interior designers.
KENDO’s contemporary home and contract furniture is ISO 9001 quality certified.
