Virtual Salone Milano 2020: TOMAS & SAEZ, making a statement for high-quality furniture design
With more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing of lighting collections, decorative items and occasional furniture in classic and contemporary style, TOMAS & SAEZ has made of exclusivity and high quality the hallmarks of its brand.
Combining unparalleled expertise in handcrafting wood with exceptional quality, the firm delivers furniture and lighting collections which are meticulously designed to cater to the most demanding lifestyles and requirements. Their dedicated team of expert craftsmen and designers – José Vicente Puchades and José Vicente Tomás – combine the fine traditions and skills of carpentry and joinery with an unsurpassed level of passion and attention to detail to create pieces which are truly beautiful and unique.
The imposing character and charm of TOMAS & SAEZ’s furnishing collections are given by the rich choice of precious materials and finishes that range from the finest wood types, including Makassar ebony, eucalyptus, rosewood and maple, and the top-quality marbles – Calacatta, Imperial, Black Bamboo -, to the bronze, crystal, the golden and silver finishes and the metallic and pearl effects. Last but not least, the leather, the velvets and a recent addition: the Plexiglass elements.
The latest collections – constantly enriched with new items – reinterpret tradition by lending it a contemporary hint and new functionalities that adapt to younger audiences and modern tastes.
EMPIRE Collection. By José Vicente Puchades
Quality, tradition and innovation combine perfectly in this line of home furniture developed by Valencia-based furniture designer José Vicente Puchades. Although the use of noble material and the marquetry technique recall the traditional styles of the past, EMPIRE is contemporary in spirit and adapts effortlessly to the modern architecture and interior schemes.
The EMPIRE collection has been extended and it now includes an integral furnishing offer for living rooms – including bar areas -, dining rooms, bedrooms, home-offices and entrance halls, and a line of standing, pendant and table lamps.
Its timeless, sophisticated appeal comes from the unique combination of noble wood, traditional marquetry, metal, leather and the exclusive touch of the acrylic glass. Thanks to their versatile properties, metal and Plexiglass join forces to keep the design fresh and original letting light play on surfaces.
The EMPIRE collection of this Valencia-based brand is available in endless sizes and finish options so that it can adapt to the needs of each project and client creating exclusive spaces at home or in hotels.
PRISMAS Collection. By José Vicente Tomás
With PRISMAS sophistication is taken to the next level. The firm has selected the best materials on the market to create a collection of outstanding furniture for both living and dining spaces.
The perfect match of the veneer sheets on surfaces create intriguing visual effects and enhance the beauty of furniture adding interest and style to spaces. The glam feel is also enhanced by the aged brass elements, the velvet used for the fronts of doors, drawers and table bases, the marble and glass tops, and the refined design of handles.
Available in different finishes, combinations of colours and sizes to match both the space and the taste of professionals and clients.
ADN Collection. By José Vicent Tomás
Formerly developed as a collection of elegant occasional furniture and bookcases, the ADN collection has been extended to include a line of dining and living room furniture. Materials here play a key role in proving furniture with sophistication and subtle touches. Pieces come veneered in noble woods, such as the fine palisander wood, with precious 18 karat gold metal bases and marble tops.
The ADN Collection is also offered lacquered in high-gloss colours with attractive handles that recall the circular-shaped bases.
The new catalogue includes also the HIVE Collection, geometrical occasional furniture inspired by beehive; and the CHIC Collection, made of the best noble materials and fully customizable, in both finishes and sizes.
