PALMA is an armchair with an archetypal presence, designed by Marc Morro for Sancal from the evolution of an earlier piece originally conceived in metal. Its language is direct, constructive and deliberately essential, inspired by the forms of early spacecraft and translated into a warmer object for contemporary interiors.

The design combines a tubular metal structure with curved plywood slats for the seat and backrest, while solid ash armrests introduce a tactile, domestic quality. The optional cushion softens the seating experience without hiding the construction, keeping the back structure visible as part of the product’s identity.

Strictly conceived for indoor use, the armchair can move between residential settings and refined lounge or contract environments. Both wood and metal can be customised in Sancal’s colour range, allowing sober, natural or more expressive compositions while preserving the clarity of its material logic.
