TWINS is a lounge chair concept built around one upholstered structure and two distinct personalities. Designed by Júlia Esqué for Sancal, it explores how fabric can completely transform the identity of an object, starting from a typology inspired by cinema seating.

The Formal Twin is the more restrained and architectural version, with upholstery that defines the volume precisely and piping that traces the silhouette. The Drama Twin introduces a continuous fall of fabric, pleats and movement, giving the armchair a more expressive, dressed character.

Conceived for interiors where a single seat can become a strong visual gesture, the collection balances comfort, textile experimentation and formal clarity. Special designer editions further emphasise each version through contrasting piping, selected fabrics and technical textiles with a sharper contemporary presence.
