Located in Laulasmaa, Harju County, Estonia, the Arvo Pärt Centre is a cultural institution that brings together the composer’s personal archive with an information and music centre. Opened in 2018, the building was designed by Nieto Sobejano Arquitectos and conceived as a place for research, exhibitions, concerts and learning, in close relationship with the surrounding pine forest.
The project incorporates Akaba’s Nora Armchair. Its presence supports the calm and restrained character of the interior, providing a seating solution aligned with the centre’s quiet architectural language and its cultural use.
