Kanso Hostel
- Madrid, Spain
- Typology: Hospitality, Lounge & waiting areas
Kanso Hostel is a contemporary hospitality project conceived as a flexible and welcoming space where design, functionality, and social interaction play a central role. The hostel offers a warm and carefully curated environment in which shared areas are designed to encourage guests to connect, relax, and spend time together beyond their private accommodation. Communal dining spaces, lounge areas, and informal meeting points form the heart of the project, supporting both short stays and longer visits in a relaxed, modern setting.
The common areas have been furnished with modular seating and stools made from high-resilience polyurethane foam by the Spanish brand BOLN. These pieces were selected for their robustness, comfort, and suitability for intensive use in hospitality environments. Their modular design allows the furniture to adapt easily to different layouts and group sizes, while the soft forms and restrained colour palette integrate seamlessly with the interior architecture. The result is a cohesive and durable furnishing solution that enhances the functionality of the shared spaces while contributing to a calm and inviting atmosphere for guests.
