Spain Pavillon
- Osaka, Japan
- Typology: Educational & Entertainment, Hospitality, Lounge & waiting areas, Retail
Created for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the Spain Pavilion was designed by Enorme Estudio, Smart and Green Design and Néstor Montenegro Mateos (Extudio). Covering 3,500 m², the project develops its architectural and exhibition narrative around the Kuroshio Current, while also accommodating meetings, presentations and cultural activity during the Expo.
Ondarreta furnished the pavilion’s common areas, reception area and rest spaces. Verified pieces include JUNO tables and benches, BOB XL chairs, SAKO tables, and ALO and HARI stools, used across the dining rooms, bar counters and informal seating areas.
These pieces help organise different uses within the pavilion, from dining and short stays at the bar to waiting and informal gathering areas, with a clear and consistent furniture language throughout the interior.
