ALEXANDRA | METROPOLIS Dining Chair | A Contemporary Take on Art Deco

Designed by Eugeni Quitllet for ALEXANDRA, the METROPOLIS dining chair translates the energy and architectural character of New York into a refined, timeless piece. Its design draws on the geometric language of Art Deco, with a light, precisely proportioned silhouette in which every curve and junction has been carefully considered. The ash wood structure brings natural warmth to the composition, balancing the chair’s graphic lines with a softer, more tactile character.

Upholstered in fabric or leather, the seat and backrest add another layer of comfort and material richness. The rounded forms and carefully executed upholstery create an inviting feel, while the leather options enhance the chair’s sensory quality and sophisticated appearance.

Versatility is another part of its appeal. With a wide choice of finishes and upholstery options, Metropolis can be adapted to a range of residential, hospitality and contract interiors — from understated dining rooms to more expressive schemes where the chair becomes a defining element.

Rather than relying on ornament, its character comes from proportion, material and precision: a contemporary interpretation of Art Deco that feels both distinctive and enduring.

VICAL | BOURG Dining Table | Sculptural Materiality

With the BOURG dining table, VICAL places material at the centre of the design. Crafted in burgundy marble with a polished finish, the table has a strong sculptural presence, while the natural veining makes each piece visually distinctive.

Its generous oval top and solid pedestal base create a sense of permanence and architectural weight, allowing the marble itself to become the defining element. Rather than relying on decorative details, Bourg draws its character from the richness of the stone, its deep colour and the organic pattern of its natural veins.

The table is particularly striking in the setting shown here, where its contemporary form is placed against the ornamental richness of classical architecture. The contrast between the clean lines of the furniture and the elaborate historic surroundings creates a sophisticated dialogue between past and present.

Bourg illustrates a key aspect of contemporary luxury: letting exceptional materials and well-resolved forms speak for themselves.

Angel Cerdá | 1160 Dining Table | Marble, Metal and Modern Craftsmanship

For ANGEL CERDÁ, contemporary luxury is expressed through the combination of sophisticated materials and carefully resolved construction. The 1160 dining table brings together a fixed oval top in white porcelain marble with subtle grey veining and a sculptural stainless-steel base in a matt bronze finish.

The oval format gives the table a generous, sociable character, accommodating up to ten diners while maintaining a sense of visual lightness. Its distinctive base introduces a stronger architectural element, combining structural presence with an elegant, contemporary profile. The porcelain marble top offers the appearance and tactile quality associated with natural stone, while providing the durability and resistance required for everyday use. A polished edge adds a precise finishing detail, reinforcing the table’s sense of quality.

The table can be paired with Angel Cerdá’s 5186 dining chair, which combines a walnut-finished wooden back and legs with a cream faux-leather upholstered seat and integrated armrests. Together, the two pieces create a dining setting in which material contrast — wood, upholstery, porcelain and metal — becomes part of the overall design language.
