ANDREU WORLD | GRAND GIRO Sofa | Modular Comfort at Architectural Scale

GRAND GIRO by Alfredo Häberli expands ANDREU WORLD‘s GIRO SOFT collection with a modular sofa system that combines a clear architectural structure with a softer and more welcoming expression.

Its configuration brings together curved and straight modules that can be arranged according to the needs of each project. This makes it possible to create everything from linear compositions to more open or conversational layouts, giving designers greater freedom when defining waiting areas, collaborative zones, informal meeting points or relaxed hospitality settings.

The most distinctive evolution in Grand Giro is its continuous upholstery, which extends down to the base of the sofa. This creates a warmer and more unified appearance while softening the architectural character of the modular system. The result is a stronger sense of comfort without losing the clarity and order required in contract environments.

For large-scale projects, this balance between structure and softness is particularly useful. SANCAL | TWINS Lounge Chairs | Two Personalities, One Structure

With TWINS, designed by Júlia Esqué, SANCAL explores how upholstery can transform the identity of a familiar furniture typology. Starting from a structure inspired by the cinema armchair, the collection creates two pieces that share the same construction while expressing very different personalities.

FORMAL TWIN has a precise and restrained character. Its geometry is clearly defined, with piping tracing the silhouette and reinforcing its structured appearance. DRAMA TWIN, by contrast, introduces movement through its draped and folded upholstery, creating a softer, more expressive presence.

The Designer’s Editions take this contrast further. On FORMAL TWIN, a change of piping colour emphasises the outline, while DRAMA TWIN uses a more technical fabric for its skirt, adding structure and a contemporary feel. Colour, volume and movement become part of the design rather than simply finishing choices.

This flexibility of expression makes TWINS particularly relevant to contract interiors. Different versions can create variation within the same project while maintaining a coherent visual language — from hotel lounges and reception areas to restaurants, waiting spaces and other environments where seating needs to combine comfort with personality.

MOBBOLI | MICK Armchair | Individual Comfort for Contract Spaces

With the new MICK armchair, designed by Patrick Norguet, MOBBOLI expands the MICK family from shared seating to the individual experience. Originally conceived as a bench system for giving waiting areas, lobbies and common spaces a sense of character and elegance, the collection now offers a more personal solution for reception, waiting and relaxation areas.

MICK is defined by a balance between generosity and lightness. Its generously proportioned upholstered body and comfortable arms appear to float above a robust, refined metal structure, creating a visual contrast between the softness of the seating and the precision of its supporting frame.

The armchair’s generous body and upholstered arms are built around an internal plywood structure and flexible polyurethane foam, giving the piece its characteristic geometry while providing the comfort expected in areas designed for waiting and rest. Its restrained appearance avoids unnecessary ornament, allowing the proportions, construction and upholstery to define its character.

KODU | ZALEC Sofa | A Bold Expression of Comfort

With its generous upholstered volumes and distinctive silhouette, ZALEC by KODU brings a strong visual character to contemporary contract interiors. Designed as a three-seater sofa, its compact composition is structured around two main sections, softened by a succession of generously padded elements across the seat and back.

Its warm ochre orange upholstery gives the piece an immediate presence, adding colour and personality to lounges, reception areas, waiting spaces and other interiors where seating contributes to the atmosphere of a project. At the same time, its generous proportions create an inviting sense of comfort, in keeping with the increasingly welcoming character of contemporary contract environments.
