BANDAS is Patricia Urquiola’s modular system for GAN that merges rug and soft seating into one flexible, floor-based landscape. Conceived for relaxed comfort and playful composition, it brings a warm, textile-driven character to homes, hospitality lounges and collaborative contract spaces.

The concept is built around long rug “bands” paired with upholstered modules—seats, poufs and chaise-like elements—that can be attached and rearranged. This makes it easy to create conversation islands, linear layouts or larger lounge settings that evolve over time and adapt to different room sizes.

Crafted with GAN’s textile know-how, BANDAS highlights colour, pattern and tactile detail while prioritising durability. Its modular logic also supports a more sustainable approach: individual elements can be updated, expanded or replaced without renewing the entire composition.
