Designed by Dutch architecture practice UNS (UNStudio) for Sancal, the GRADAS Seating System reinterprets the urban typology of grandstands into a versatile, micro-architectural landscape for interior spaces. Inspired by informal public gatherings on bleachers, the range spans three distinct configurations: an expansive multi-level stepped bench (XL) designed to structure large open-plan zones, a linear 3-seater sofa (L) tailored for high-traffic waiting areas, and a compact armchair (S) suitable for both contract and residential environments.

Constructed with robust internal framing upholstered in Sancal’s extensive range of fabrics and leathers, GRADAS offers fluid, multi-directional seating options that blur the line between furniture and architecture, facilitating spontaneous social interaction across commercial lounges, educational hubs, and modern living spaces.
