Hanover House
- Brooklyn, New York, United States
- Typology: Lounge & waiting areas, Residential
Hanover House is a residential rental building in Downtown Brooklyn, New York, designed by Fogarty Finger. The project combines a one-storey podium and a tower, with shared amenity areas conceived as outdoor and indoor spaces for everyday resident use. The building includes landscaped terraces and rooftop areas with seating, planted zones and views towards New York Harbor, creating places for residents to meet, relax and use the building beyond their private apartments.
Expormim furniture was installed on the garden terrace and rooftop lounge areas. The project includes the NIDO low armchair and NIDO hand-woven armchair, both designed by Javier Pastor, together with the BARE rectangular coffee table and BARE side table by Studio Expormim.
The NIDO pieces bring hand-woven rope seating to the outdoor social areas, while the BARE tables provide practical low surfaces for lounge settings. Both collections are specified for outdoor use, with stainless steel structures and finishes suitable for exterior environments.
