CANCIO launches the new collection of movable bars and stools for home and contract spaces

It is not only the decorative aspect that makes kitchen bars so popular as the utility factor plays here a significant role. Sometimes even the smallest extra work surface is enough to make a busy kitchen run smoothly and be livable.

The Valladolid-based CANCIO has just launched a new range of movable, custom made bars that add function and a contemporary flair to the kitchen and dining space designs. The collection includes four different movable solutions: SLIDE, SNACK, FREE and 90º that can be complemented with other models of fixed or extendable tables.

All the models have some common features that turn them into a unique solution perfectly adaptable to every project. The bars are offered in six standard measures but they can be customized to any width, length and height. In addition to this, they can be supply in pieces as the firm is able to manufacture every single part separately in case you need only the legs or the structure without worktop so that you can match the material with other kitchen furniture. Deliveries can be scheduled to meet other project deadlines.

SLIDE bar

Perfect for home and contract use, this bar can be manufactured to fit perfectly different projects and designs. It moves longitudinally along the kitchen countertop or along a wall thanks to an aluminum guideway that can be mounted on the kitchen countertop or on any wall.

The lengthwise movement allows to make use of the bar surface in different situations: as an element of support when cooking, as auxiliary surface while washing up and of course, to eat on it.

Slide is manufactured in six standard or bespoke sizes and offers a wide variety of finishes, open pore wood finish, coloured glass or ceramic laminate with a very high level of scratch and heat resistance.

SNACK bar

SNACK is a sliding bar for kitchen countertops. It is provided with interior guides that allow a smooth and quiet two-way movement and make it possible to use the surface with bar stools or even standing up for a quick breakfast or snack.

The brake system locks the bar anywhere in its path to prevent it from moving while in use. The range of finishes for the countertops includes from faux wood laminate to glass and ceramic.

FREE bar

Perfectly adaptable to kitchen countertops and islands, the FREE bar can be moved laterally and lengthwise to optimize the space. It is an ideal solution for those kitchens that have little room for a traditional table with chairs, but it is also an aesthetically modern option that allows to create an overhanging countertop with bar stools. Hidden wheels make it possible a smooth displacement of the piece, while the brake prevents the bar from moving while it is being used.

FREE is also a great solution when you need to refresh the look of the kitchen without a total refurbishing and the consequent expenses.

The fixation to the worktop can be done by drilling or for those who want to avoid that process, only with high strength adhesive double-sided tape.

90º bar

The 90 bar is designed to save space in the kitchen. Its 90-degree movement mechanism maximizes the use of kitchen space. In fact, when closed, it totally overlaps the worktop and once opened out it offers enough space for a number of guests, as it is manufactured in up to six measures and can also be tailor-made. It has wheels on the legs for smooth opening and also a locking mechanism that prevents it from moving while in use.

It has a wide variety of finishes and it can come with a U-shaped metal leg or with a one-piece structure featuring the same materials for the horizontal and vertical surface. The double-side tape assembly system adheres to any surface material and makes it possible to incorporate the 90º bar in a quick and cheap way without needing any refurbishing work.

The VULCANO and CLICK drop-leaf bars are perfect to create informal dining spaces or add an extra work surface in small apartments.

The new catalogue includes also several new models of bar stools, both with fixed and adjustable base such as the PETRIS, PLAY and TABÚ stools, as well as offering a new range of adjustable columns and bases in epoxy colour finishes for those models of stools already existing in the current offer of CANCIO.
