Orgatec 2026: OFIFRAN’s new launches bring warmth and versatility to the modern workplace

At Orgatec 2026, Spanish company OFIFRAN will present two new collections by Dorigo Design that approach the contemporary office from different perspectives: TWIST, a solid ash seating collection with a warm, versatile character, and PLAN, an executive table system designed for offices, meeting rooms and shared work settings. Together, they bring together natural materials, functional flexibility and a more welcoming approach to corporate interiors.

Based in Valencia, OFIFRAN has been creating office furniture since 1990, building on a family business that began in the city’s Cabanyal district in the 1980s. Today, the company exports to more than 70 markets around the world, combining design and manufacturing expertise with a strong focus on quality, continuous improvement and customer needs. Its approach also places emphasis on environmental responsibility, with management systems covering quality, environmental management and ecodesign, including ISO 14006 certification.

TWIST Seating Collection: a warmer approach to workplace seating

There is something reassuring about a solid wood chair in a workplace. TWIST, designed by Dorigo Design, brings that sense of warmth into meeting, waiting and hospitality areas without losing the clean lines expected of contemporary contract furniture.

Made from solid ash, the collection comprises three versions: an armless guest chair, a chair with arms and a more generous armchair. The seat can be upholstered in a wide choice of fabrics and leathers or finished in natural ash veneer, coordinated with the different finishes available for the frame.

This range of options gives TWIST the flexibility to move easily between settings, from informal meeting areas and reception spaces to restaurants and residential interiors. Its balanced proportions and timeless character also make it a natural choice for projects where the boundaries between workplace, hospitality and more domestic environments are becoming increasingly fluid.

TWIST is developed according to OFIFRAN’s ecodesign principles, with a focus on reducing the environmental impact of its products. Its solid-wood construction and choice of finishes also give designers considerable scope to create a warmer material palette within contemporary workspaces.

PLAN Table: an executive table system with room to adapt

If TWIST brings a softer note to the workplace, PLAN takes a more architectural approach to the office. Also designed by Dorigo Design, this collection of executive tables is conceived for private offices, meeting rooms and shared workstations, including bench configurations.

American oak veneer and solid American oak give PLAN a substantial yet refined presence, adding natural warmth to corporate environments. Its flexible design allows different configurations to be created according to the requirements of each project, whether the setting calls for an individual executive desk, a meeting table or a shared workstation.

This adaptability makes PLAN particularly relevant to today’s offices, where spaces need to accommodate different ways of working rather than serve a single fixed purpose. The combination of a clear, understated design and natural oak also allows the collection to sit comfortably within both formal corporate interiors and more relaxed workplace settings.

Like TWIST, PLAN has been developed according to OFIFRAN’s ecodesign criteria and its ISO 14006 certification, reflecting the company’s commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its furniture.
