Orgatec 2026: TEXFEL® turns acoustic PET felt into a design feature
Good acoustics are essential to comfortable workplaces, but acoustic treatment does not have to disappear into the background. At Orgatec 2026, Spanish brand TEXFEL® by Fytisa will present VIBE and TEXFEL SYSTEMS, two approaches to PET felt that bring acoustic solutions into the visual language of contemporary interiors. From textured wall surfaces to lightweight ceiling systems, the new proposals combine material, colour and functionality for workplaces and contract environments.
TEXFEL® by Fytisa draws on a family-owned industrial heritage dating back to 1841 and specialises in decorative and acoustic PET felt made from recycled plastic bottles. Its range includes panels and rolls in different thicknesses, colours and formats, with standard and bespoke options available for architectural and interior design projects. TEXFEL® products are supported by Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification, reflecting the brand’s focus on more responsible material choices.

VIBE Acoustic Panels: giving acoustic surfaces a new dimension
What if acoustic treatment could add character to a wall rather than simply cover it? This is the idea behind VIBE, a collection that uses TEXFEL Echo and TEXFEL Interiors PET materials to turn acoustic surfaces into part of the interior design.

Shapes, reliefs and colour create a three-dimensional language that can bring rhythm and texture to walls, allowing designers to build distinctive surfaces while addressing acoustic needs. With a minimum of 60% recycled PET, VIBE also brings the material’s recycled content into the design story.

For workplaces, hospitality interiors and other contract settings, this opens up a different way of approaching acoustic treatment: not as a purely technical layer, but as an element that can help define the atmosphere and identity of a space. The combination of colours, reliefs and configurations gives designers considerable freedom to create surfaces suited to the character of each project.
TEXFEL SYSTEMS: flexible ceiling solutions for workplace acoustics
Walls are not the only surfaces that shape how a workplace sounds. TEXFEL SYSTEMS takes acoustic treatment to the ceiling, using TEXFEL Echo PET felt to create lightweight architectural systems that combine visual impact with acoustic comfort.

Designed to be customised and straightforward to install, the systems can be integrated into different architectural and interior design schemes, making the ceiling an active part of the project rather than an overlooked surface. Their lightness and range of possibilities allow designers to work with form and composition while maintaining a clean, coherent look.

For open-plan offices and other shared environments, where conversations, movement and multiple activities can compete for attention, this approach offers another way to incorporate acoustic treatment into the overall design. The result is a ceiling solution that contributes to both the visual character and the comfort of the space.
When acoustics become part of the architecture
With VIBE and TEXFEL SYSTEMS, TEXFEL® brings acoustic treatment closer to the way architects and interior designers think about space: through materials, surfaces, colour and composition. For workplace and contract projects, the two systems offer different ways to address acoustic comfort while giving the interior a stronger visual identity. See TEXFEL® at Orgatec 2026 and explore how acoustic materials can become an integral part of the design.
