TAPIZADOS LUJOSA has gone North, working on major projects in Sweden, Norway and United Kingdom
Chairs and armchairs by TAPIZADOS LUJOSA have been used for major hospitality projects in Northern Europe, adding a lively warm touch that contrasts with the widespread Nordic taste for minimalistic ultra-modern environments.
Is there something better than a warm, cozy inside when outside is bitterly cold? That’s what important Nordic interior design studios thought when they had to deal with some major hospitality projects, such as the Hotel Bryggen in Nordfjodeid (Norway) or The Lydmar Hotel in Stockholm (Sweden). To decorate them, they have used the upholstered pieces by TAPIZADOS LUJOSA, a Spanish firm created in 1983 and specialized in classic and contemporary upholstered furniture.
And they proved to be right because TAPIZADOS LUJOSA’s upholstered collections have contributed to create eclectic spaces that rise above trends and are all but run-of-the-mill. In the Brasserie Le Rouge and in the Griffins Steakhouse, both in Stockholm, TAPIZADOS LUJOSA’s stylish chairs and armchairs add a lively warm touch that contrasts with the widespread Nordic taste for minimalist ultra-modern environments.
In the last five years, the company has strived to innovate its marketing strategy, adapting its products to the needs of the contract sector in terms of quality and versatility. This has led to the launch of a stunning new collection, NOUONOU, created by the Spanish high-profile designer Ximo Roca. The fusion of classic elegant lines and high-quality materials makes it perfect to suit the needs of the most demanding architects and interior designers.
TAPIZADOS LUJOSA has a strong presence in the international markets, where it sells the 70% of its production. In addition to Northern Europe, other major markets for the Spanish firm are Austria and Equatorial Guinea.
