The UK’s premier workplace interiors event is set to return with a powerful message about the future of work. On 25–26 February 2026, the Business Design Centre in London will host the Workspace Design Show, an essential gathering for architects, designers, brands, facility managers and innovators who are shaping the modern workspace. This year’s edition introduces a bold new themeConnected Realities—exploring how hybrid models, immersive technologies and smart environments are fundamentally reshaping not just the spaces we work in, but how we feel, engage with, and belong to them.

With over 5,000 attendees expected from more than 40 countries, and an impressive showcase of 500+ products, the show has established itself as the definitive platform for discovering what’s transforming the contemporary workplace. From cutting-edge materials and furniture to groundbreaking technology, sustainability initiatives and human-centric design, Workspace Design Show offers two days of high-impact inspiration, discovery and meaningful connection for everyone invested in the evolution of work environments.

Spanish Design Excellence: Meeting the Demands of Tomorrow’s Workplace

Spain returns to Workspace Design Show London with a carefully curated selection of brands that perfectly exemplify how Spanish manufacturers are responding to the evolving needs of modern workspaces. Now in its sixth edition at the show, this Spanish group brings together a diverse range of companies whose proposals address critical workplace requirements across multiple categories—from sophisticated furniture design to technical solutions that enhance functionality and user experience.

The five Spanish exhibitors represent a strategic cross-section of the workspace sector:

  • Expormim (Stand A34) brings its renowned expertise in high-end indoor and outdoor furniture, where handcrafted rattan and contemporary design merge to create pieces suitable for flexible workspaces and contract environments. Their collections, developed in collaboration with internationally acclaimed designers, demonstrate how natural materials and artisanal craftsmanship can meet the demands of modern office design while combining Mediterranean tradition with sustainability.
  • Ojmar (Stand A24) showcases intelligent locking systems for lockers and storage solutions, from touchless Bluetooth smart locks to digital keypad systems. Their IP-55 rated locks, designed to resist moisture, humidity and dust, reflect the growing demand for flexible, hygienic and technologically advanced solutions in corporate offices, co-working spaces and wellness facilities—essential as hot-desking and flexible workplace models become the norm.
  • Texfel (Stand A21) addresses acoustic comfort with its range of PET felt panels made with a minimum of 60% recycled material, offering both sound management and aesthetic flexibility for open-plan offices.
  • IB Connect (Stand A33) provides modular power and connectivity systems that integrate seamlessly into furniture, combining outlets, USB charging and data connections in customizable configurations.
  • Daisalux (Stand B23) brings specialized expertise in emergency and technical lighting, with luminaires that blend into architectural spaces while delivering exceptional performance.

Together, these Spanish companies highlight a versatility that positions Spain as a strategic partner for office and contract projects. What unites them is a shared commitment to design excellence, technical performance, innovation and increasingly, sustainability—qualities that resonate strongly with today’s most forward-thinking workplace professionals.

Spanish Furniture Exports: A Growth Story

Spain’s influence in the workspace design sector is backed by impressive export performance that reflects the increasing international recognition of Spanish craftsmanship and innovation. From January to November 2025, Spanish office furniture exports reached €180 million, underscoring the sector’s robust health and competitive position in global markets.

The United Kingdom represents a particularly promising market for Spanish manufacturers. Ranking as Spain’s 7th largest export destination, the UK accounted for €5.1 million in Spanish office furniture exports during this period—a figure that marks notable growth compared to previous years.

Beyond the Showfloor: Awards, Installations and Talks

Workspace Design Show 2026 adds a new dimension with three key parallel events that transform the show into a comprehensive industry experience. The inaugural Workspace Design Awards will take place live on 25 February 2026, recognising outstanding achievements in workplace design across categories including innovation, sustainability, experience and adaptability. Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony & Networking Party (5:30pm–7:30pm), celebrating the most creative and impactful projects from across the UK and Europe.

A series of immersive installations designed by leading studios, including MCM, Peldon Rose, Gensler, Area and M Moser bring the Connected Realities theme to life across the show floor. Highlights include The Circular Hub exploring material life cycles, Exhale—a sensory pavilion shaped by scent and light, and Merge: The M Moser Lounge examining craft, technology and user-led design.

The Workspace Design Talks programme features more than 120 speakers across four dedicated stages, with industry leaders from Gensler, JLL, Foster + Partners, Nestlé, Landsec, CBRE, tp bennett, Virgin Media O2, Octopus Energy and Hawkins\Brown sharing insights on workplace design, strategy and culture.

Spain’s Strategic Presence in London

With a thoughtfully selected group of manufacturers spanning furniture, acoustic solutions, technical lighting, security systems and connectivity infrastructure, Spanish brands offer tangible proof that contemporary work environments require solutions that harmonise aesthetics with functionality, tradition with innovation, and commercial success with environmental responsibility.
