MOBBOLI Wins the iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 with the Sophisticated and Highly Adaptable IGGY Seating Collection
Not all workplace seating is designed to make a visual statement. IGGY, one of the most iconic collections by MOBBOLI, does exactly that — and has now been recognised with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARD 2026. Created by acclaimed French designer Patrick Norguet, the collection was recognised in the Product Design | Office/Stationery Category, further highlighting the international reach of contemporary Spanish workplace design.
Selected from more than 10,000 entries submitted from 68 countries, IGGY stood out for its refined aesthetic language, versatility and attention to user comfort. The award was decided by an independent jury of 129 international design professionals, organised by iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the most respected institutions in the global design industry.

IGGY: Comfort, Character and Versatility
Designed for premium workplace, hospitality and contract environments, IGGY proposes a sophisticated yet expressive interpretation of contemporary seating. The collection includes chairs, armchairs and stools with a wide variety of configurations, allowing architects and interior designers to create highly personalised compositions adapted to different spatial concepts.

At the core of the collection is its distinctive upholstered shell, available with or without arms, featuring a soft gathered finish that enhances both comfort and visual warmth. IGGY also introduces the possibility of combining two different upholstery finishes within the same piece, opening the door to rich material contrasts and tailored interior schemes.

The collection’s flexibility extends to its structural options, with fixed four-leg, sled and cantilever metal bases alongside swivel versions suited to collaborative and executive settings. The stool variants, available in two heights and with or without armrests, further broaden the system’s applicability across workplace, hospitality and lounge environments.

Spanish Manufacturing with a Contemporary Vision
Beyond aesthetics, IGGY reflects the manufacturing expertise behind MOBBOLI, a company founded in 2018 as the contemporary design expression of Spanish manufacturer delaoliva. Drawing on more than six decades of industrial know-how in office and educational furniture production, the Madrid-based brand combines advanced technical capabilities with a strong commitment to local manufacturing and sustainability.
All production is fully managed in Spain, enabling a high degree of customisation while maintaining rigorous quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Certified materials, traceable production systems and durable construction methods form part of the company’s long-term commitment to responsible design.

With IGGY, MOBBOLI delivers a seating collection that balances elegance, comfort and adaptability — qualities increasingly demanded across today’s contract interiors. The iF DESIGN AWARD 2026 recognition confirms the collection’s relevance within the evolving international design landscape and highlights the continued strength of Spanish furniture design on the global stage.
